2023-24 Membership Renewals
Many thanks to all those who have renewed their membership. A pack of information for the coming year will be sent out at the end of June.
Warm Welcome
Please give a warm welcome to Pavlina Houdkova who joined the club this week.
Training this week:
Tuesday June 20: 5 min @ tempo, 5 min easy, 4 min @ 10k pace, 2 easy, 5 min @ tempo, 4 x 30/30 hard effort. The session will take place in Pittencrieff Park (aka The Glen). Meet at Glen Pavillion. Park in the city’s car parks or around Limekilns Road.
The session will be led by Kathryn.
Thursday June 22: Hills: 15 sec uphill sprint, 20 sec downhill recovery, 60 sec uphill hard effort with 2 min recoveries x 5-7. The session will take place in Pittencrieff Park (aka The Glen). Meeting place is at the bottom of the hill. Park in the city’s car parks or around Limekilns Road.
The session will be led by Kathryn.
The session leaders will lead a warm-up at 18:30, leaving from the session meeting place, followed by a dynamic warm up at 18:45 and the sessions will start at 18:50. If you can’t make the 18:30 warm up, don’t forget to do a good warm up before the dynamic warmup, and do a cool down after the session.
The Return to Running group will also be meeting in Pittencrieff Park on Thursday. The group is ideal for members wanting to ease back into training or looking for a gentler session.
If training needs to be cancelled for any reason, we will post on Facebook.
Remember, if you have any symptoms of any potentially transmissible illness (not just Covid), please do not attend training.
