This year’s Festive Forest Run will take place on Saturday 16th December. This “club member only” event will be held over a near 7 mile trail route around Blairadam Forest, starting and finishing at the Clentry Forestry Commission depot at Kelty (where they sell the Christmas trees). The main run will start at 12:30 pm, with an earlier start time of 12:15 pm to give slightly slower runners a bit of a head start.
An entry form is attached to this week’s bulletin, please fill it in and return it to Barry. If you are unable to run but would still like to be involved in the event, please let Barry know as helpers will be required on the day.
Recce runs have been organised for Sunday 19th Nov and Sunday 3rd Dec, both starting at 9:30 am. These runs will give members the chance to have an easy paced run around the route, stopping at various points to get their bearings and re-group. If anyone wants to car share to Blairadam, we suggest leaving Queen Anne at 9:10 am on both Sundays which will give you sufficient time to get up to Kelty.
