Club President

An Agenda and associated papers will be sent to you the week before the meeting. If you have any items which you wish to be discussed at the AGM, please submit them to Val Macaulay by Sunday 29th April 2018 at the latest.

We are hoping for a good turnout so please make every effort to attend as this is your opportunity to influence the running of the club for the next 12 months.

A key part of the meeting is the election of officers for the coming year. You may be wary of taking on the commitment but please be assured that it is not particularly onerous.  Click links for full details on the nomination process and a short description of the roles and responsibilities of committee members. Please take time to read through these documents.  There is also a small supply of nomination forms under the noticeboard at PSSC.

We are particularly keen to recruit new committee members who have skills (for example in IT, marketing, communications, training etc.) that will benefit the club as we move forward.

If you are interested in coming on to the committee, but feel uncomfortable about approaching others to propose or second your nomination, please send an email to [email protected] and we will arrange this for you. Alternatively if you know of someone who would be interested but is too modest to put themselves forward, or someone whom you feel would make a good committee member, please encourage them to come forward and stand for election.

Candidates do not need to attend the AGM to be eligible for election.

If you require any further information, please contact any of the current committee who will be happy to tell you more.

We look forward to seeing you all on Tuesday 8th May.
