Road Relays

Sun 28th Jan Scottish Veteran Harriers Road Relays (for those aged 35 or over)

Strathclyde Country Park, Hamilton – women’s teams comprise 3 runners and men’s teams comprise 4 runners, with all runners covering one lap of the loch of approx. 5.8 km; races start at 11:00 am. http://events.scottishathletics.org.uk/events/20169-17559-scottish-masters-road-relays

The Road Relays are only open to those who will be at least 35 on the day of the event.

For the ladies, we need at least 3 names to enter a team. So far we only have one name – Kirsty Baird. For the men, we need at least 4 names to enter a team. So far we have only two names – Graeme Wilson and John Hynd.

Please note the Relays take place on Sunday 28th January, the day after the Devils Burden Relays. Please therefore only reply to the emails sent out by Karen and Barry on 9th January if you are genuinely interested and are able to commit to running on the day. The deadline for replying direct to Karen or Barry is by end of training on Thursday 18th January. If we don’t have sufficient names for complete teams, we will not submit entries.
